Dr. Abdul Ali Peer Zada

He is a certified Clinical Laboratory Geneticist by the European Board of Medical Genetics with a European Diploma in Classical Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics from University of Montpellier, France. He has obtained his doctorate (Ph.D.) in Human Biology with a ‘suma cum laude’ from the Ludwig Maximillian's University (LMU) Munich, Germany in 2004. He completed his post-doctorate from the University Hospital Halle Saale and University Hospital Cologne, Germany. Currently, he is working as a Consultant Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Molecular Pathology, KFMC- a tertiary care clinical and teaching medical city within the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He signs-off cases related to cytogenetics, molecular genetics and whole exome sequencing for all medical specialties. He is a recipient of the Jose Carreras Leukemia Fellowship, principal and co-investigator on many research grants in diverse projects ranging from molecular diagnostics, whole genome approaches and MS proteomics.
